The Structural Integrity: Materials and Structures (SIMS) journal is a refereed research journal which aims to promote scientific issues associated with integrity, security and reliability of materials and structures. The journal focuses on issues related with structural integrity, structural safety, durability of metallic and composite structures, probabilistic approaches, fatigue behavior, fracture mechanics, damage mechanics, and experimental mechanics about structural systems or materials.
SIMS encourages the scientific and technological development in the understanding and characterization of structural integrity to materials and structures. This scientific journal is aimed at academics, researchers and professionals interested in the structural integrity.

The journal is intended for both, academics and practicing experts - professionals, researchers, former researchers and PhD students in the field of civil, mechanical and aerospace engineering as well as for other specialists interested in these fields.
